CFC bantamweight champion Gustavo Falciroli can’t wait to fight again and he’s not fussed where or against whom.
“I don’t know what’s next ... I just want to enjoy the moment,” he told cfcworld.com.au after defeating Sydneysider Richie Vas at CFC 12 for the title.
“It’s a big step for me to have the belt of CFC, the main thing I want to do is to keep fighting MMA.
“As long as I have the opportunity to step in the ring I’m gonna be happy, doesn’t matter where, doesn’t matter against who, I just want to keep fighting.”
Falciroli said he has improved immensely but conceded that he still has a lot to learn.
“I’ve improved a lot in my standup game, I try to improve my strikes on the ground, not just submissions,” he said.
“I think slowly, slowly I’m stepping forward.
“I think tonight I just got my blue belt in MMA.”
