Masaya Doi is returning to Australia to fight against Jai Bradney in CFC13. While preparing for the fight, he had some time to answer a few questions from CFC.

How long have you been fighting?

7 years in MMA. I had practiced karate and jujitsu before taking up MMA.

Your fighting again in Australia what does this mean to you, are you excited?

Very excited. As MMA has been increasing its popularity in Australia, more and more people are now interested in the sports. A lot people take it up themselves not just being watching it. There are lots of good fighters from there as you see in UFC. I love to show what I can do to those enthusiastic Australian MMA fans, competitors and promoters.

Your last fight in Australia on Rize 2 you won the fight with unanimous Decision over Adriano Magalahes a Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt, can you tell us about that fight?

I knew Adriano was a good submission artist so I trained to avoid the ground game, keep standing and pick him apart, and it worked.

What do you know about your opponent Jai Bradney?

He's from Gold Coast and a good southpaw striker, just like me.

How are you preparing for this fight?

I worked on the anti-southpaw tactics a lot for the match having my training partners in the southpaw stance while sparring.

How do you see this fight going?

Stand up battle. The crowd will be on their hometown boy's side but I am going to knock him out.

What does competing for CFC mean; will it give you more opportunities as a fighter. Have people in Japan heard of CFC?

CFC is a well known MMA organization it mean a lot to me to fight and win in it. It will surely give my fight record a lot of credential. People in Japan who competes in MMA know CFC. I think if more Japanese fighters start to fight in it,it will be more popular even among
ordinary Japanese sports fans.

Is there anyone you would like to thank?

The gym I am fighting out of; Shinwa Total Combat.
